Hello and welcome to Harleigh's Taxidermy!

I have been practicing tanning and taxidermy for over a year. I have a fur dealers licence, so I am legally allowed to tan and taxidermy fur-bearing mammals in the province of Ontario. I am based out of Severn Bridge (40 minutes north east of Barrie). I am self-taught. Rules and Regulations

• If you are a hunter and have legally acquired the animal carcass, I need your outdoors card number, name, address, and phone number
• If you are a farmer and have killed a fur-bearing animal to protect your livestock and would like to have it tanned or taxidermied, you need to acquire a possession license (free) at www.ontario.ca 
  
• If you have a fur dealers licence, and would like a fur-bearer tanned or taxidermied, I need your fur dealers licence number. 
  
• If you have found the animal dead (roadkill, etc), you need to acquire a possession licence (free) at www.ontario.ca. 
  
• If the animal you would like taxidermied belonged to you prior to it dying, I do not need any licences (E.g. a pet rabbit etc)
  
• If you intend on keeping the pelt of a fur-bearing mammal outside the hunting season, you will need a licence to posses the pelt (free), which can be obtained from the MNR.
